As you will be aware, all caravan sites have been closed for the moment, and no specific date has been set for the sanctions to be lifted.
So far, we have called all our customers who were booked in to stay in March and April, and most of them have kindly chosen to defer their booking to later in this year or next year. Some have asked for their payment to be returned, which we will gladly do.
As we can see from the news every day, policies keep changing, so although the Caravan Club have chosen to close their own Club Sites until June, we are hoping that we may be allowed to reopen before then.
We will call those who have bookings in May & June in the last week of April to assess the situation and offer these alternatives if it looks like sites will remain closed. However, if you definitely want a refund or a credit note, or another date, please email us and we can move or refund your booking.
Serviced Pitches
Aerial View May 2019
What a great spot for the pitches too! Each pitch has spectacular views over the valley and onto the hillsides - sometimes the mist gathered in the valley providing wonderful beauty. Ted (the owner) also said to our children that they could play and explore the grounds - build dens in the forest area, play football in one of the flatter fields and generally roam the site at will but respecting the abundant wildlife as well as the resident ducks, horses, chickens, owls, and even a peacock!
Pheasants and Red Kites are a constant attraction. We all loved walking through the woods and exploring. Ted made us feel really welcome and even took us up to the barn to see if we could spot the baby owls in the owl box which has a camera set up in it!
Our 4 children loved it so much they all want to return (with our eldest 2 boys aged 11 and 9, this is amazing as they are not easily pleased!) and our tv didn’t even get watched once as the kids were all so happy playing! If you have children this really is a site designed to make it relaxing and welcoming for the whole family.
We strongly advise approach from M40 J5 (Stokenchurch). Alternative routes are both very narrow and very steep.
Note: We will email you the entry code 2 days prior to arrival.
