Come off the M40 at junction 5. Everything else works, but nothing else is pleasant with something on the back.

Step by step
Leave the M40 at junction 5
Stokenchurch. Please use this junction even if your satnav suggests otherwise, as the alternative approaches are single-track, steep and awkward unless you are in a small campervan.
Take the road to Ibstone
Signposted from the M40 junction. It runs along the ridge for about two miles.
Pass the pub on your left
The Fox at Ibstone, formerly the Fox Country Inn. Keep going for another four hundred yards.
Turn left at the red telephone box
That is the entrance to Cholsey Grange. It is easy to miss, so slow down when you see the cricket pitch on your right.
Through the green security gate
You will get the gate number by text on the morning of your arrival. Then follow the concrete farm drive, bearing right when you see the courtyard.
Through the gate and down the track
Go through the gate straight ahead of you (the gate code pad is in the hedge on the right) and carry straight on down the track for 200 yards, and you are on the CL.
The gate and your arrival
The green security gate is closed at weekends and in the evenings. Your entry code is emailed to you two days before you arrive, so keep an eye out for it, and check your junk folder if it has not appeared the day before. You will also be texted it on the morning of your arrival.
Arrival is from 12 noon onwards and departure is before 11am. If you are going to be very late, or you hit trouble on the way, a text is always welcome.
Public transport
High Wycombe is the nearest railway station, about twenty-five minutes by car, with fast trains to London Marylebone. There is no bus service in Ibstone.
